There have been further changes and legal cases relating to adverse possession and leasehold flats.

In this article, Paul Butt works though some of the complexities whilst also having a personal rant about the fee levels that should be charged for more complex work! As he says:

“Both adverse possession and leasehold flats bring their own problems; both ought to be charged for extra over the basic conveyancing quote. And adverse possession, at least, is often going to be an area where an indemnity policy is going to be necessary…”
